So the usual post about what's coming up this year - and there's a lot! I think this might be the most exciting year yet and it's only January - most of the announcements are still to come.
Next event is Collectormania Milton Keynes 25th & 26th May - we've never been to one of these before, but we think this is finally the year : Jenna-Louise Coleman (current Doctor Who companion Clara) ; Billie Piper (past Doctor Who companion Rose Tyler) ; Charles Dance (amazing in EVERYTHING but currently Tywin Lannister in Game of Thrones); Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond Hulme in Lost, among others); John-Rhys Davies (Lord Of The Rings - Gimli!), Malcolm McDowell (Where do I begin!?) - and many, many more.
Later in the year is the London Film and Comic Con, 5th-7th July. I am SO excited about this one mainly because MICHAEL SHANKS and AMANDA TAPPING (Daniel Jackson and Sam Carter from Stargate SG-1) We dress as SG-1 team members and have met Teal'c, Mitchell and Bra'tac so looking forward to these two a LOT. Also as an added treat JASON MOMOA who plays Ronan Dex in Stargate Atlantis (and Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones) is there too - I may die of handsome men. They've also announced Peter Dinklage who is absolutely incredible as Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones, and also there - Linda Hamilton (Terminator), Colin Baker (Dr Who) and William B Davis (X-Files) so that's going to be *such* an expensive weekend but amazing, completely amazing. I'm SO excited.
