Withnail & I is one of the films my husband and I had in common when we met - as did most people our age, I know, but it's always meant a lot to us, and instilled a life-long love of Paul McGann and Richard E. Grant. Paul as the Doctor - well, the filmscript was not what he deserved - luckily there are many wonderful Big Finish audios to enable us to get to know his Doctor. I've always had a large soft spot for Queen of the Damned too, and I don't care who knows it. 

Paul was lovely to my nephew and I. We chatted a fair bit, he was happy to pose for the slightly strange 'heads!' photo of the two of us, and later on he left the building at the same time as us and we walked to the tube station with him, chatting all the way. We waved goodbye when our train pulled away...sadly. We were no longer hanging out with Paul McGann.
